Greek government is currently formed by Syriza and Independent Greeks. Want to know what this is?
According to ekathimerini.com, Syriza is a left-wing political part in Greece, and party chairman Alexis Tsipras is serving as Prime Minister of Greece. In the most recent election, Syriza defeated the incumbent New Democracy and went on to become the largest party in the Hellenic Parliament.
Nikolaos Chrysoloras has told us the main policies of the new party in charge. It hold the view that austerity suppresses growth and exacerbates debt sustainability. It is also going to following prudent fiscal policy, without running a budget deficit. They are determined to keep Greece in the Euro, while attacting investors.
